BB&O round-up

LITTLEMORE got back to winning ways with a 34-19 success at Harwell in the BB&O Premier Division.

The visitors had conceded walkovers in their previous two fixtures due to being unable to field sides.

But they earned victory this time with a powerful team display.

Tries from Josh Tims, Jamie Cantwell and Jack Robinson, who added two conversions, saw Harwell in the game at 22-19 down.

But Littlemore, whose try scorers were Dean Andrews, Darren Warne, Darren Massey, Max O’Donnell, Rhys Painton and Ralph Jones, finished strongly.

Jones kicked two conversions.

Four tries from centre Tom Kinsey helped Gosford All Blacks win 53-20 at Phoenix and climb to fifth in the table.

Kinsey bagged Gosford’s opening tries and wing Ben Gilkes No 3, scrum half Will Watts converting two.

James Townsend slotted a penalty for Phoenix’s first points.

Fly half Harry Sutton (2), Kinsey and Max Burbidge added to Gosford’s try tally, Watts converting two and adding a penalty.

James Richardson forced his way over for Phoenix, while home tighthead prop Jamie Willis and Gosford lock Luke Burbidge were yellow carded before Kinsey’s final try, converted by Watts.

Late on, Phoenix drove lock Neil Wincombe over for a try, while Kinsey was sin-binned.

Phoenix were awarded a penalty try on the final whistle, Townsend converting.

Bicester lost 44-19 at leaders Stow-on-the-Wold, who maintained their 100 per cent record.

Stow powered into a 22-0 lead, thanks to tries from lock Andrew Piercy, scrum half Alex Kelly, full back Joe Nott and flanker Richard Huggett, wing Nick Cafeiro converting the latter.

After the break, wing Ted Holmes and flanker Cameron Kelly added to Stow’s try tally.

Fly half Will Hammond converted his own try to get Bicester started.

But centre Cameron Davidson, converted by Cafeiro, and No 8 Craig Chapman ran in tries seven and eight for Stow.

Bicester at least ended on a positive note, with centre Chad Ward and lock Mark Malins scoring, Hammond converting the latter.
