Chinnor head coach John Brodley says his players know how important it is to defeat fellow National 3 South strugglers Rosslyn Park tomorrow (3).
Brodley's side, who show two changes from last week, go into the home match just three points ahead of second-from-bottom Rosslyn.
With Old Patesians and Dings Crusaders, the two two teams immediately above Chinnor, also clashing, it could prove a crucial day at the bottom.
Brodley said: "Rosslyn Park is just a really big game for us as we are both fighting at the bottom of the league.
"The players and everybody at the club know the importance of a win.
"It's not the be and end all, but we would expect to win our home games against these sides around us."
Left winger Martyn O'Mahoney is fit to return after missing last week through injury, while Chris Sutton gets the nod ahead of Jaike Carter at right wing.
Brodley added: "I have gone for Chris's extra experience in defence over Jaike's greater speed."
Fitness coach John Phipps returns to the bench.
Skipper Owen Gustafson is likely to move to scrum half to cover for Anthony Cope (unavailable) when Oxford Harlequins host Weston-Super-Mare in South West 1.
Centre Andy Henley could make his long-awaited return after a shoulder injury, while prop Paul DeLange (Achilles) is back in the squad.
Lock Dave Payne (hip and knee) is making progress.
