Lewis Calcutt hit Division 1’s highest break of the season with a run of 69 to help Witney E to a 4-2 home win over Abingdon RBL in the Gentworks Oxford & District League.
The match was all-square after Witney’s Ron Reddy and Wayne Reddy shared their frames with Dave Noake and Kevin Higgs respectively.
But then Calcutt produced a sparkling display, backing up his 69 with a 45 to win both his frames against Nigel Barker.
Premier Division leaders Littlemore RBL C won 5-1 at Woodstock.
Littlemore’s Matthew Challen shared the first two frames with Stuart Reeve, before Adam Brown put the visitors in charge with a 2-0 victory over Justin Page.
Jason Buck sealed victory with a 36 break as he took the last two against Chris Webb.
Matthew Jacob racked up Division 3’s highest break of the campaign with a 38 to seal Headington RBL B’s 6-0 win at Eynsham B.
