LITTLEMORE have vowed to "see the season out" after Saturday's 136-0 thrashing at Wallingford in the BB&O Premier Division.
The 22-try romp was Wallingford's record victory, while Littlemore have also had to give two walkovers this season.
Littlemore spokesman Matthew Westcott said: "We are having a tough time at the moment. We are struggling to get 15 players out on a Saturday.
"The problem we've got is that a lot of our older players retired at the end of last season.
"Probably two thirds of the side that beat Wallingford in the county plate final at Iffley Road in 2005 are no longer at the club.
"Wallingford are a very strong side, but unfortunately we took a bit of a beating.
"Every time they scored we went behind the posts, dusted ourselves down and continued."
"We are determined to see the season out.
"All we are going to do now is just turn up and play.
"Being relegated will do us good rather than bad as we are in a division now where we are out of our depth.
"It's not that everybody is down in the dumps. We've just got to take it on the chin."
Wallingford chairman Jerry Walters said: "We didn't want to rub it in too much. It's quite sad for Littlemore. They were absolutely woeful."
