In the match against CCC A, Norman Woodcock (+70) just held off Arthur Cookley (+90) to win 150-142.
Paul Robinson (-30) rem- ained unbeaten by crushing Malcolm Grieveson (+110) 200-136, and then Simon Aries (-50) sank Keith Pearce (+60) 200-172.
Against Witney, Bob Chivers (-40) beat Gavin Wright (-10) 200-150.
Woodcock (+70) defeated Chris Warren (+70) 150-38, and Robinson (-30) saw off Terry Cook (+20) 200-153 with breaks of 22 and 24.
CCC B pipped Eynsham 2-1 to go second in Division 2, with Brian Mabbutt (+10) making breaks of 24 and 48 to beat Roy Gascoyne (-110) 200-196.
