Didcot Town extended their remarkable unbeaten away record to 19 matches with a 3-3 draw at Premier Division Chippenham Town in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy.
In a scintillating match, Didcot can count themselves slightly unfortunate not to have caused a major upset, after racing into a 2-0 lead.
The home fans were still filing into the ground when Stuart Beavon fired Didcot in front, finishing off a flowing move to ram the ball past Chris Snoddy in the first minute.
Then Jamie Brooks doubled in the lead in some style, finishing from ten yards after good build-up play between Paul Powell and Beavon.
Only a finger-tip save from Snoddy denied Brooks as the visitors threatened to run away with it.
The home side then stepped up the pressure, Kevin Halliday forcing a fine save from Chris Webb.
But with Didcot looking to reach the break with a two-goal advantage, the home side hit back.
A quick break down the right ended with Dave Gilroy having a simple tap-in.
In the second half, Webb pulled off a stunning save to deny Paul Milsom, while at the other end, Snoddy clawed Parrott's header around a post.
Chippenham levelled in the 57th minute, when a dubious free-kick saw Adam Garner head home.
A brave clearance from Ross Weatherstone denied the home side the lead, but moments later, a run and cross from Sean Seavill gave Griffin a simple chance at the far post, which he headed past Webb.
However, Didcot were not to be denied a replay, when Beavon turned his marker to fire home his second of the game.
