OXFORD United were watched by the fourth biggest gate in Conference history - 8,185 - as the league leaders beat Aldershot 2-0 with two late goals.
Andy Burgess fired them ahead from the penalty spot on 73 minutes after Yemi Odubade was brought down.
Burgess then scored with a solo effort six minutes from the end after robbing big defender Rhys Day.
