Didcot's Elliot Harvey ended his Honda cadets racing career by retaining his Forest Edge Kart Club Championship.
The 11-year-old went into the race in third place in the championship, having missed some of the earlier meetings in Hampshire.
Heavy rain put the meeting in jeopardy, but when it eventually got the go-ahead two second places in the heats meant that Harvey was in pole position for the final.
Harvey, who opted for slicks, went into the lead, but was caught by Harry King, who was on wet tyres.
The pair swapped positions, but it was Harvey who crossed the line first to clinch the title and keep up a record of winning every final he entered at Forest Edge this year.
Next season, he will race in the MiniMax class.
