Three young players from Oxford Hockey Club made their mark in the England Futures Cup at Cannock.
It is the first time the club have had three players in the regional tournament for the best juniors in the country.
Caitlin Bailey-Williams and Martha Foster were members of the Mercian Lynx team that finished runners-up in the under 18 girls competition.
Martha Foster, from Thame, who attends Headington School, was only called up as a late reserve but scored twice, while Bailey-Williams, from Oxford, was in defence.
Sam Fisher, from Wheatley Park School, helped Mercian Lynx take the under 16 boys title, scoring in their 2-0 victory over Wessex Leopards.
