CHRIS Wilder will reject any suggestion of squad rotation as he plans to send out his strongest possible Oxford United side at Barnet in the FA Cup today.

The priority for the U’s remains the npower League Two campaign, which continues against Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday.

Barnet joint boss Mark Robson hinted this week he may make changes, but Wilder has not considered shuffling his pack.

United have reserved some of their best displays for cup games this season, knocking out League One sides Bournemouth and Swindon Town in the Capital One Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy (JPT) respectively.

And Wilder (pictured above) is keen to take that form into the FA Cup – where a win would net the club £18,000 in prize-money and give the squad a boost to take back into the league.

“We want to progress, no doubt about it,” the United boss said.

“We won’t be pulling players out and trying things, we want to win the game and be in the hat on Sunday.

“There’s no second chance – if we have an off day we’re out.

“We can’t be selective and I don’t think we ever will be in terms of what we expect and demand.

“We have played quite well in the JPT and the league cup.

“Obviously the FA Cup is a really important competition to everybody – financially and for the progression of the side.

“We all want to win games and play in those big ties that everyone always talks about.”

United will be without Johnny Mullins and Jake Forster-Caskey, who are unavailable as part of their loan agreements.

Fellow loanee Lee Cox is eligible to play and could come into midfield after missing two games with a virus.

Wilder is reluctant to make many changes in the wake of the 3-1 win at Wycombe. His main selection decision is whether Michael Raynes or Harry Worley replace Mullins at centre half.

Barnet, who have never beaten United, sit bottom of League Two, but are on a three-game unbeaten run since the arrival of Dutch star Edgar Davids.

Wilder said: “The good thing is we’re not going into the unknown, sometimes it’s dangerous territory on first round day.

“While it will be a tight game, we expect to play well and get a result, but it’s no good us talking about it, we have to make sure we turn up.

“If we do that we’ll give ourselves a very good chance of progressing.”

The second round draw is live on ITV at around 2.40pm tomorrow.
