Guy Nicholl grabbed a hat-trick of tries as Southern Counties North leaders Grove won 24-15 at home to Aylesbury.
The wing crossed three times in a first half, which also saw full back Huw Lewis go over.
Fly half Dave Maryon set up Nicholl’s first two tries, with wing Harry Carr converting both.
Aylesbury replied with a penalty before scrum half Owen Gustafson fed Nicholl for his treble.
The visitors managed a try, but Lewis’s long-range score made it 24-8 at half-time.
Aylesbury scored again after the break, while Grove replacement Roger Sevier and a visiting wing were yellow-carded for fighting.
Two tries from No 8 Rich Bower helped Wallingford win 25-18 at Slough.
This was their first victory of the season and came after three successive draws.
Flanker Tom Hill and wing Fraser Hunt also crossed over for Wallingford, with fly half Oli Henderson slotting a penalty and a conversion.
Slough replied with two tries, one conversion and two penalties.
Alchester lost 38-5 at Mlton Keynes for their third straight reverse.
Matt Flegg scored their solitary try.
