James Clark helped himself to a hat-trick as Didcot Town claimed only their second success of their Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West campaign with a fine 4-2 victory at Evesham on Tuesday night.
Clark’s treble and another from Pablo Haysham earned Didcot the points, but victory came at a price just four days before their FA Trophy second qualifying round clash at Poole at the weekend. Midfielder Lance Williams was stretchered off with a leg injury and keeper Marco Belloli-Periera and defender Lee Henderson were also injured and had to be replaced before half-time. Roland Agbor scored both Evesham’s goals.
The home side also finished with ten men after Mark Danks was shown a late red card.
