Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longsdon landed a 9-1 double at Plumpton yesterday with Pete The Feat and Hannibal The Great.
Pete The Feat, the 10-11 favourite, followed up his recent Uttoxeter success by running out an easy 12-lengths winner of the handicap chase over three miles and two furlongs under Noel Fehily.
And Irish import Hannibal The Great made a winning debut in this country when skipping clear in the hands of Kielan Woods to beat Mixologist by four lengths in the National Hunt Flat Race at 7-2.
