POLICE rescued three ferrets from illegal poachers taking place in an Oxfordshire village.
The animals were seized on Wednesday after officers were alerted of 'illegal ferreting' taking place in Ashbury.

Thames Valley Police shared a photo of one of the rescues on Facebook and added: "This ferret's days of running his illegal bunny chasing operations are over.
"The three ferrets have now been rehomed and have retired from their crime life."
