A MAN who filled his van with a dangerous amount of fuel has been arrested on suspicion of driving away from a series of petrol stations without paying.
Thames Valley Police stopped the driver yesterday after getting reports of someone pulling the trick at a number of garages across southern Oxfordshire, including in Wantage.
The driver has been accused of filling his van up with multiple containers of fuel and leaving without paying.

The police shared this picture and the news of the arrest on Twitter yesterday, and one user commented that the amount of fuel in the photo was potentially deadly if the van had been in an accident.
Lyn Carter responded to the post and said: “Thank goodness you stopped it. Lethal if it was involved in an accident! Question where was it going with all that fuel?”
