A 13-year-old boy has been charged with arson after a huge fire at a barn in East Hanney.
The boy, who cannot be named because he is a minor, will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He was arrested on October 31 after the blaze at the barn in Steventon Road the previous day.
At the time Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said 100 tonnes of straw inside the barn opposite La Fontana restaurant were engulfed in flames.
The boy was charged on November 20 but Thames Valley Police did not release details until yesterday.
Two other boys aged 14 and 15, who were arrested along with the 13-year-old, have been released without charge.
