A document that could allow buildings of up to eight storeys and student accommodation in any new West Way development was scrutinised by councillors last night.
The Supplementary Planning Document will set guidelines and limits for any future development. The draft SPD allows uses such as a hotel, cinema and student housing as well as a community hub and library.
Vale of White Horse District Council’s scrutiny committee discussed the document and it is expected to go before cabinet for a decision on October 30. Developer Mace is expected to put forward new plans for the Botley centre later this year.
