Man dies after
A man has died after his car came off the road near Shrivenham and crashed through a fence last night.
Police said that the 52-year-old motorist was driving his silver Lotus Elise along the Longcot Road towards Shrivenham at about 5pm when it skidded off the road and through a fence.
The man, believed to be from Faringdon, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but was pronounced dead later that evening.
Police are urging witnesses who saw the car to call them on 101 quoting URN 1073 10/10.
