Oxfordshire County Council came forward to offer support to fire-struck SODC yesterday.
Leader Ian Hudspeth, said his council may be able to offer spare offices to South Oxfordshire District Council staff.
He said: “There will have to be some office relocation. We have staff working at Abbey House in Abingdon and we may have some spare offices that we can offer to South Oxfordshire District Council staff.
"We all need to help each other to make sure residents of South Oxfordshire and the Vale get the service they need.”
