THE Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire are two of the most desirable districts to live in according to a new survey.
In the Halifax Rural Areas Quality of Life Survey, the Vale came eighth and South Oxfordshire 10th out of 119 rural local authority districts.
Both ranked highly for employment figures, average earnings and for low crime figures.
South Oxfordshire District Council’s cabinet member for economic development, Judith Nimmo-Smith, said: “We know from our residents’ surveys that they are happy with life in South Oxfordshire.”
