The Oxford Half Marathon has been named one of the easiest in the UK.

VegasSlotsOnline compiled a top 10 list after analysing metrics such as elevation gain, race ratings, average rainfall, and Google search volume for each race.

The Oxford Half was crowned the 10th easiest half marathon in the UK with an elevation gain of 311ft, a course navigation score of 4.54, and average temperature of 11.3 degrees.

Also featuring in the top 10 were Reading Half Marathon, the Great Bristol Run, Milton Keynes Half Marathon, Bath Half Marathon, and Royal Parks Half Marathon in London.

The research comes with Google search volume for ‘half marathons’ having surged by 108 per cent in the past three months, and an estimated 6.2 million people in England having taken part in running in the last year.

This year's Oxford Half attracted a record number of runners, with thousands of others attending to watch.

It was a perfect sunny autumn morning for the race, which started at Broad Street in the city centre and passed through Old Marston village, along the River Cherwell, past Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing on Parks Road.
