Oxford Ice Rink is set to host a national skating competition next week.
The Oxford Open will see skaters of all ages and abilities compete from Tuesday, November 12, to Thursday, November 14.
The competition, which is free for spectators, will see athletes from all over the UK competing, as well as local skaters.
Jane De Lange, ice skating coordinator at Oxford Ice Rink, said: "We are excited to welcome back this competition to Oxford, with so many local children and talented athletes from across the UK taking part.
"The event is organised by a dedicated team of local volunteers from the Oxford School of Skating, and we would love to see as many people as possible come along and experience the excitement.
"Whether you're a long-time skating fan or new to the sport, this is a wonderful way to support our local athletes and enjoy top-class skating in the heart of Oxford."
Spectators do not need to book and can turn up at any time during the competition.
It will run from 7.45am to 6.15pm on Tuesday, November 12, from 7.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesday, November 13, and from 7.30am to 5.30pm on Thursday, November 14.
A spokesperson for Oxford Ice Rink, which recently celebrated its 40th year, said the venue is "excited to host this vibrant community event".
