Professional wrestlers from Japan, Italy, Iran and the UK will descend on Oxford this weekend.

The Ultimate Legacy 2024 show on September 14 will see some of the world's top athletes come together at Beecroft Hall.

The main event will pit Tiger Ali of Tehran against the UK's Chris Ridgeway.

Ali was named by wrestling legend Último Dragón during a tour in Japan, will Ridgeway is a globally decorated athlete.

In another matchup, former WWE NXT UK star Saxon Huxley will take on veteran wrestler The Saint.

Huxley is known for devastating his opponents by hurling them around the ring before pummelling them into submission.

Returning to the UK after six years, the 'Italian Stallion', Antonio De Luca will square off against ‘The Silverback’ Saime Sahin.

De Luca, notorious for his outspoken criticism of the UK and its wrestling fans, is expected to provoke the Oxford crowd when he goes up against fan-favourite Sahin.

Rising Japanese star Taishi Ozawa from the Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion will take on the UK’s own Prince Phoenix.

Ozawa has quickly gained recognition on the global stage for his agility, technical prowess, and aerial moves.

With a blend of traditional Japanese wrestling techniques and high-flying manoeuvres, he is widely seen as a future star in the making.

Doors will open at 5.30pm before the show starts at 6pm.
