Oxford City have named Sam Cox as their new manager ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The 33-year-old moves to Court Place Farm after adding some invaluable experience to his CV whilst holding the interim managerial role at Wealdstone last season.
He helped the Stones survive relegation against all the odds and impressively maintain their National League presence on the final day of the campaign.
Cox replaces Ross Jenkins who stepped up to manage the team in January 2022, guiding the club into the National League for the first time.

Jenkins departed in May with the Hoops finishing in last position in the division and suffering relegation having won just eight games.
Upon his appointment as the new City boss, Cox said: “I’m delighted to get the deal over the line.
“My first impressions of this football club are tremendous.
“There’s some really good people around the place and after years of playing against Oxford, I know how well run the club is.
“I’m really looking forward to getting going, starting the season and trying to take this football club to where it deserves and needs to be.”

His impressive playing career saw him accumulate almost 350 appearances in senior football with 32 of those coming internationally with Guyana as captain.
Oxford City owner Justin Merritt said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Sam to Oxford City as our new men’s first team manager.
