A 23-year-old man has admitted assaulting a three-year-old boy as he forced him to take medicine.
Steven Andrews, of Barretts Park, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm in October last year when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
The court heard Andrews bruised the boy on his neck and arm while he tried to make him take antibiotics in a village in the Cherwell district. He was released on bail to be sentenced on Tuesday, November 4.
