FIREFIGHTERS were rushed to a farm near Cropredy to put out a field blaze.
Four fire engines were yesterday called to the scene to put out the 400 x 200 metre blaze.
The cause was a bonfire but it is not being treated as arson, a spokeswoman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
She said: "We were called at 3.50pm to reports of a field on fire near Poplar's Farm, near Banbury.
"Firefighters used beaters and a fogging unit from the 4x4 to put out the fire."
No one was injured, she added.
