Have you missed a photo of your child in the newspaper and can't get hold of a copy?
Perhaps you heard you featured in an article but only found out after the newspaper had long left the shelves.
Fear not because there is a way you can access our past editions of the Oxford Mail without leaving the house.
One benefit of being an online subscriber to the Oxford Mail is being able to view an ‘e-edition’ via the ‘Digital Edition’ button at the top of the homepage.
This function allows readers to flick through pages of the latest edition without buying a printed copy.
You can also save, download and print PDFs, make cuttings of text or pictures you might want to keep and search a digital archive of editions going back to January 2013.
To explore this function, you can sign up for a monthly digital subscription here: www.oxfordmail.co.uk/subscribe.
You can enjoy all the benefits of an Oxford Mail digital pack which includes the e-edition of the newspaper, the digital app at the price of £4.99 per month.
Alternatively you can get a web-only subscription to get an unlimited and advert-light access to the Oxford Mail as well as puzzles for £3.99 for one month or £39 for one year. This can be cancelled at any time.
You can also take advantage of our Readers Reward scheme providing exclusive access to hundreds of offers, deals and discounts.
And you can also enjoy 50 new puzzles and crosswords every week online.
Sadly, any archive material from before 2012 is much harder to trace locally and we do not have an in-house facility to support this.
We would recommend speaking to the Oxfordshire History Centre which houses extensive material from historical publications.
More details can be found by calling 01865 398200 or visiting Oxfordshire History Centre online: www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/leisure-and-culture/history/oxfordshire-history-centre/collections-archives-and-records/newspapers-and-periodicals
They have microfilm records from 1928 to 2002 for the Oxford Mail, but also have records of many other Oxfordshire publications which may be of interest.
