AN EVENT to mark the 1556 granting of a Royal Charter to Abingdon by Mary Tudor will take place on November 23.
Students from John Mason School will join the town archivist, councillors, representatives of County Hall Museum, the civic society and others to learn about aspects of heritage of the town.
