PLANS to convert a Victorian town hall building with its own proclamation balcony into flats have moved on a step.
The owners of the former HSBC bank in Wantage Market Place have now submitted plans for a new front door, windows and bin and cycle storage.
Pension trust DA Phillips & Co, which owns the historic building, won planning permission this summer to convert the top two floors of the 1877 town hall into four apartments.
It is expected the ground floor will become a shop. See the latest plans at whitehorsedc.gov.uk using reference P17/V3025/FUL
