OXFORD East MP Anneliese Dodds raced alongside 80 other MPs to raise money for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

She rode as quickly as she could for five minutes at Portcullis House, and got the third fastest time amongst her female colleagues by clocking up 2.94km.

Ms Dodds said: “I would like to thank the Industry and Parliament Trust and The Royal British Legion for arranging this event.

"The Royal British Legion provides invaluable support to The Armed Forces community; I am pleased to have been able to support such a worthy cause in such an enjoyable way, and coming third amongst other women taking part was a bonus.”
