NATURE lovers have been invited to join a conservation work party today in Botley.
The Wild Oxford team from the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust will be at Raleigh Park from 10am to 3pm.
The team will be burning willow wood chopped down this week and raking up fallen branches and leaves.
People will also be invited to take some firewood home in exchange for three hours’ work.
Volunteers are advised to bring warm clothes, sturdy boots, gardening gloves and a packed lunch.
