POTENTIAL mentors can find out more about launching or developing a scheme at a workshop tomorrow.
Staff from Oxford Brookes University are holding a free session to help those interested.
It is part of the STAMINa Mentoring Network project which builds upon the expertise and research interests of a team based at Oxford Brookes, Oxford University and Reading University.
Business School senior lecturer Dr Judie Gannon said: “The STAMINa Mentoring Network is for all organisations, regardless of size or sector, and whether you are thinking about running a new mentoring scheme within an organisation, a scheme across several organisations or even developing an existing scheme.
“We have a variety of organisations involved in sharing their experiences and we hope the workshop will provide a valuable learning experience and networking opportunity for delegates.”
The workshop will include sessions on the principles of sustainable mentoring schemes, managing scheme data and developing resources.
It will take place in Brookes Union Room 7 at the university’s Headington Campus from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
