MORE than £20,000 was raised for Comic Relief by staff and customers at the Bicester Sainsbury’s superstore.
The shop put on a host of events in the week leading up to Red Nose Day on March 24 including leg waxes for male staff and guessing the name of a bear.
Sainsbury’s deputy manager Adam Wilson was also gunged as he lay in a Red Nose Day bath whilst being pulled through Sheep Street by superheroes. He said: “Our customers and colleagues are always keen to raise money.”
