CAROLS will echo across a church as fundraisers unite to gather cash for a summer street party.
Organisers behind the Cowley Road Carnival will host its Christingle for Christmas event on Sunday.
The Cowley Road Works team have invited families to join the festive service at S Mary and St John Church.
Visitors to the Cowley Road church will be treated to mulled wine and mince pies at the fundraiser, which starts at 3.30pm.
Cash raised towards organisers' £133,000 target will support the event set to hit East Oxford on Sunday, July 2.
