SCHOOL pupils raised more than £600 for a homelessness charity by holding a sponsored sleep-out.
Youngsters at Sibford School near Banbury spent the night of November 25 out in the cold to support Banbury Young Homelessness Project.
They slept under the school's art block and had no access to technology, no mattresses and only a cup of soup to keep them going.
Pupil Molly Jones said: "Our ribs really ached the following morning but, for all our complaining, we knew that we would get a hot shower and a big breakfast.
"It was the little things we take for granted that we really began to appreciate."
