CREATIVE media students will be aiming to catch the eye of industry experts when they display their work at an end of year celebration.

Students who study at SAE Institute's Oxford campus in Littlemore will exhibit their portfolios in areas including animation, audio, film, game, art and music business on December 9.

The event will be attended by industry experts who want to scout up-and-coming talent from the next generation of creative professionals.

Prospective students and visitors are also invited to see the cutting-edge work of students pursuing degree courses at the institute.

SAE is one of the world's leading creative media institutions.

Academic coordinator Dean McCarthy said: "We are preparing our students for an authentic future in creative media, so it’s important that they get used to publishing their work, releasing it the general public and having it critiqued by industry.

"We felt it was important that this was student led, and that the students showcasing work could collaborate with peers to decide how they want their portfolios to be exhibited.

"It’s also an incredibly important experience for our music business students, who are given an insight into working with different media sectors and venue managers to execute such a demanding event."
