WALKERS will no longer have to pussyfoot through cowpats in a Kennington field.
The herd of cows that had been grazing in the memorial field have left for greener pastures after they moved in in April.
Oxford Preservation Trust, which owns the field, has told Kennington Parish Council that they are not set to return until around Easter.
The field off The Avenue is dedicated to the memory of the six Kennington men who died during the Second World War.
