CANNED food items will be collated for crime victims near Thame and Wheatley.
Neighbourhood policing teams in the area encouraged residents to donate tinned food and non-perishable goodies to their collection boxes, so they can treat elderly and lonely victims of crime to a Christmas hamper.
The scheme runs through the force's Vulnerable Elderly Residents Association and drop-off points are at Thame town hall, Asda in Wheatley, Chinnor council chambers and Watlington council office.
Donations are welcome until December 14.
