PLANS for a wooden footbridge over the canal in a new housing estate have been published.
The bridge will cross the Wilts and Berks Canal as is passes through a new estate in Wantage, west of Denchworth Road.
Hertfordshire-based Abbey Developments, which is building some of the new homes, has submitted the details of the bridge to Vale of White Horse District Council for approval, as the council requested.
The application can be found at whitehorsedc.gov.uk using reference number P16/V2879/DIS
