A MAN Booker Prize winner will reveal the secrets behind his award-winning book when he comes to the city.
Author Paul Beatty, who won this year's leading literary award, will talk about his race satire The Sellout when he comes to the Sheldonian Theatre on December 16.
His book, which centres on a character's hopes to reintroduce slavery and segregation in Los Angeles, was turned down by 18 publishers before being accepted by small independent firm Oneworld.
The special preview event, hosted by organisers of Oxford Literary Week, will start at 7pm.
