A BOSS of Santander Bank has visited Oxford University to confirm further financial support to help improve access for students and fund scholarships.
The university has strong links with Santander after signing an agreement in 2007, which committed £2m during a nine-year period.
Santander UK CEO Nathan Bostock met Vice-Chancellor Louise Richardson and confirmed a further £690,000, with an agreement to extend the partnership for three years.
Ms Richardson said: “Santander’s philanthropy continues to support one of the university’s key aims - widening access.”
