REPAIR works will begin on the final Oxford tower block later this month.
In the next two weeks, Plowman tower in Northway will become the fifth block to be refurbished as part of Oxford City Council's £20million project.
Work is currently ongoing on Foresters Tower in Wood Farm.
Heating systems will be replaced in each of the blocks and new sprinklers installed, as well as new windows and cladding on the outside of the buildings and refurbishment of lifts.
Each flat will also have the choice of freeview or cable TV, compared to only half the flats having satellite TV access before the works.
