MEMBERS of the public are being reminded to make donations to save a hoard of Saxon coins for the nation.
The £70,000 appeal was launched by the Ashmolean Museum after James Mather discovered the coins in a farmer’s field in Watlington.
The deadline for the appeal is January 31.
