The Full English breakfast is something adored by many around the UK, with plenty having their own specific alterations to the classic formula.
Whilst the inclusion of hash browns might be a more regular debate, a change to one person's breakfast caused a bit of a conversation on Reddit.
An image was shared on the r/CasualUK Reddit page showing an image of a Full English breakfast with an element that wasn't to the user's liking.
They wrote: "My local cafe gave me an end slice for one of my two bits of toast. Can this be prosecuted?"
The post can be seen on the r/CasualUK Reddit page here.
Full English end-of-slice toast image causes debate
Overall, the post was surprisingly divisive with some telling the poster to "lawyer up" while others saying they had been "blessed".
One person joked: "I think this post might be quite divisive.
"Though on the positive side, once we’ve identified the End Of Loaf heathens we can deal with them at our leisure."
Another replied to that, saying: "That's ok we will just use our delicious crusts as shields."
Many argued for the usefulness of an end slice in a Full English, as one posted: "Holds more content (including liquids) for your breakfast scooped toasty.
"I can get my bacon, some fried egg and some beans or tomato in there without worrying about it dropping down my arm."
Another agreed, replying: "Absorption to structural integrity ratio is unmatched".
Meanwhile, one user joked: "Complaining about getting an end piece should be prosecutable. Or at the very least should be grounds for institutionalising."
Some were shocked there were so many going to bat for the end of a loaf, as one shared: "I'm surprised by how many people are pro-end piece."

In reply, someone said: "It’s the best bit! Fortunately my husband is a degenerate like yourself so I get them all in our house!"
There were a few people still not getting onboard as one shared: "Crusts are good on their own toasted, but with a full breakfast? Heavy enough as it is, my breadrin".
Outside of the bread debate, some took issue with other elements of the plate, as one commented: "Toast is toast the more pressing issue is it looks like your eggs were not runny?? Absolute travesty."
