Britain's Got Talent returned to our screens once again this weekend for its 17th series, with a pogo stick act thrilling viewers.

Duncan Murray, 22, from Canada, came onto the stage completing stunts on a pogo stick.

He even got Ant & Dec involved, completing a trick where he jumped over the pair of them standing up.

It brought the crowd into rapturous applause, and Murray received four yeses from the judges.

Viewers were also impressed by Murray's stunts with many taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise him.

One person wrote: "Pogo stick guy amazing best so far I can’t balance on a little one let alone do that so 10/10 #britainsgottalent #bgt".

Another shared: "The pogo stick guy is the first decent act tonight #bgt".

Meanwhile, another posted: "That Pogo Stick guy actually justified coming over from Canada, that was some proper talent #BritainsGotTalent".

Britain's Got Talent 2024 Golden Buzzer acts

A few acts have had the Golden Buzzer pushed for them in this series, which grants them automatic passage to the semi-final stage.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, plus hosts Ant & Dec all get one act to send through straight away.

Alesha Dixon pressed the Golden Buzzer for Ravi's Dream Team choir, Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe won the favour of Ant & Dec, and singer Sydnie Christmas was sent through by Amanda Holden.

Alongside that, Simon Cowell was impressed by the futuristic dance troupe CyberAgent Legit and pressed the Golden Buzzer for them.

Those who make it through the audition stages will progress to the semi-finals and move a step closer to being crowned Britain's next superstar.

The winner of the series will take home the £250,000 cash prize and earn a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
