A new feature-length thriller drama is airing on Channel 5 over the pre-Christmas weekend.
An Invitation to Murder is set in 1934 and tells the story of six strangers who are invited to the remote island mansion of billionaire Lewis Findley.
Over the course of one weekend, the six strangers begin to receive clues about why they have been invited as they learn of a dark sinister secret.
Things take a dark turn when oneΒ member of the group is murdered, leaving no one safe and everyone becoming a suspect.
The Channel 5 drama has a stacked cast including Mischa Barton best known for starring in The OC, Neighbours: A New Chapter, Homecoming and more.
An Invitation to Murder also stars Chris Browning who has starred in a number of popular shows including The Lincoln Lawyer, Sons of Anarchy, Bosch, The 100 and many more.
The thriller drama is based on the story by writer Gerard Miller and adapted to TV by Brain O'Donnel, Jerome Reygner-Kalfon and Sebastien Semon.
