What’s your go-to crisp? Are you a fan of a cheesy Quaver or do you prefer a tangy pickled onion Monster Munch?
If you are a lover of meat flavours, you might be gutted to learn that Walkers have axed sizzling steak Wotsits, leaving fans “begging” the crisp giant to “bring it back.”
It’s not the news many were hoping for as the brand brought the popular flavour (originally known as BBQ beef) back onto shelves in 2020.
The movement came after they were discontinued for the first time back in 2000, reports The Mirror.
Aside from this flavour, Wotsits are also available in flamin’ hot, prawn cocktail and really cheesy.
Over the last few years, Walkers brought Wotsits out in giant and crunchy forms too.
Walkers reveal sizzling steak Wotsits are no more leaving fans 'heartbroken'
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user called Callum tweeted the Walkers account: “Are sizzling steak wotsits now discontinued as well? Can’t find them anywhere anymore,” along with a teary-eyed emoji.
@walkers_crisp replied: “Hi Callum, we’re sorry but sizzling steak Wotsits are no longer part of our range.”
Callum then posted two red heartbroken emojis in response.

But he’s not the only one who has been missing the favourite crisp, as another account wrote: “@walkers_crisps bring back sizzling steak wotsits I beg please I miss them,” with two crying face emojis.
This person said: “@walkers please tell me that #sizzlingsteakwotsits have not been discontinued! They got me through the winter last year!! #favourites #snacks #helpanurseouthere”
Sharing their strong thoughts, this tweet reads: “It’s 2023 and beef/sizzling steak Wotsits are still the greatest crisps ever made.”
Someone also made quite the statement on social media, saying: “True Story - Sizzling Steak Wotsits are better than Cheese Wotsits.”
It seems others had been looking for sizzling steak Wotsits, as one enquired: “@walkers_crisps whats going on with your Sizzling Steak Wotsits, can't find them anywhere.”
The meaty baked treats are not the only Walkers crisp to disappear from shelves recently, as they Walkers confirmed on X that salt and vinegar Quavers are no longer being made.
