Customers of furniture company Made.com have been told they'll be able to submit a claim to get money back on outstanding orders if they don't arrive by Friday, November 25.

Made.com collapsed into administration last week, with retailer Next saying it would buy its brand name and intellectual property but not its stock.

BBC News reports that nearly 4,500 orders in the UK and Europe are already with carriers but "a large proportion" will not be fulfilled as they are not ready to be sent out or are still in production.

Some 12,000 orders which have been paid for but not yet dispatched will not be refunded or delivered by Made.com.

Administrators PwC said that UK and European customers who have orders currently with delivery companies should get them by November 25.

If it does not arrive then they can make Section 75 claim to their bank if they paid by credit card or a chargeback claim if they paid by debit card.

Submitting this claim does not guarantee you'll be able to get your money back, and returns or offering exchanges are not an option either.

BBC News added: "You can also make a claim in writing to the administrator explaining what you are owed and what for, for example, if you've been left with a gift card or voucher you cannot use."

A spokesman for PWC said that all customers who might have an unfulfilled order should have received an email with details on how to submit a claim.

Further details for customers on their orders can be found on the PwC website here.
