A large blaze has torn through a warehouse in east London.
Masses of black smoke could be seen billowing from an industrial estate in Orient Way, Leyton, on Saturday morning.
Some 120 firefighters and 20 engines responded to emergency calls, the first of which came at 5.22am, London Fire Brigade said.
They were still working to extinguish the flames several hours later, the service confirmed.
Residents living near the two-storey warehouse, said to be around 60% alight by authorities, were told to keep doors and windows shut.
Station Manager Rod Wainwright said: “There are large volumes of smoke.
“I would advise all nearby residents in the area to keep their doors and windows closed until the smoke plume has diminished.”
