While the heatwave may come to an end soon, it’s still a good time to enjoy an ice cream when you are out and about in the hot weather.
With George & Davis and iScream gelateria in Oxford there are plenty of places to pick up a tasty ice cream.
Ice cream sales have picked up in recent weeks during the hot spell but tomorrow the heatwave is likely to come to an end, with forecasters predicting cloud, rain and fresher conditions.

Thunderstorms are predicted for Oxfordshire but the weather will still be warm so it's worth keeping some ice creams and lollies in your freezer.
In October pupils at Oxford Academy were encouraged to take care of their Covid-19 bubble zones were rewarded with ice cream.
Pupils were encouraged to reduce litter and ensure their zones were clean, in order to take pride in their school.
Year 7 students bagged ice creams from John’s Whippy after their success in the ‘Best Kept Year Area’ competition.
Site and cleaning staff judged the contest and remarked that students had shown an increased awareness of the importance of making positive choices and having pride in their school.
Nora Ward, headteacher, said at the time: “At The Oxford Academy, we are lucky to have state-of-the-art facilities and ample outdoor space.

“To keep our students safe within their year bubbles, each year group has a designated zone.
“It has been fantastic to see our students take responsibility for their school, demonstrate respect for each other and care for their environment.
“While Year 7 were the overall winners on this occasion, I am grateful that students in all year groups rose to the challenge and took part.”
